Local law shapes every care path

Quenva uses a nationwide public-policy baseline and applies additional location-specific notices, consent, eligibility, prescribing, pharmacy, renewal, and communication controls when required.

Policy versionSeptember 3, 2026
01

No nationwide availability promise

Quenva’s public care pages describe potential programs and educational information. They do not represent that Quenva, a particular licensed provider organization, licensed provider, pharmacy, medicine, or telehealth modality is available in every state. Availability is confirmed using the patient’s current physical location before care or payment authorization.

02

Privacy and consumer health data

State privacy laws differ in scope, thresholds, exemptions, definitions of sensitive or consumer health data, consent standards, response deadlines, appeals, authorized-agent rules, universal opt-out signals, and restrictions on sale, sharing, profiling, advertising, geofencing, and reproductive-health disclosures. Quenva applies the right and definition available under the governing state law and presents a supplemental notice or consent when required.

03

Telehealth consent and encounter rules

Depending on the state and care category, telehealth may require written, electronic, or documented verbal consent; a specific video, audio, or in-person modality; patient identity and location verification; licensed provider identity and credentials; cost or insurance information; an emergency plan; a visit summary; records; laboratory testing; or referral for local evaluation. The secure intake and treating licensed provider determine which controls apply.

04

Prescribing and controlled substances

Provider licensure, telehealth registration, examination standards, prescription-monitoring review, controlled-substance authority, and in-person-evaluation rules vary by state and remain subject to federal DEA requirements. Website content and consent do not authorize prescribing. Testosterone or another controlled medicine is considered only when the treating licensed provider and workflow satisfy the requirements for the patient’s location.

05

Licensed provider organization and pharmacy

Clinical services are provided through a licensed provider organization, and medication is dispensed by the licensed pharmacy identified in the patient’s care, order, or label documents. Some states require entity, provider, license, telehealth-registration, pharmacy, complaint, or follow-up disclosures at a particular stage. Quenva provides those details during intake or care rather than suggesting that one roster applies nationwide.

06

Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds

Automatic-renewal laws may require clear pre-purchase terms, affirmative consent, a retained acknowledgment, online cancellation, trial or annual reminders, price-change notice, specific timing, and state remedies. Quenva applies the required rule for the consumer’s location. Nothing in the Terms or Refund Policy limits a mandatory state cancellation or refund right.

07

Calls, texts, and quiet hours

Marketing calls and texts require the consent and identification required by federal and applicable state law. State requirements may add registration, do-not-call, frequency, quiet-hour, disclosure, recordkeeping, or revocation rules. Quenva applies location-based suppression and honors STOP and any other reasonable revocation method.

08

Adults and minors

Quenva’s standard intake is designed for adults age 18 or older. It does not rely on exceptions that sometimes allow a minor to consent to a limited category of care. If an adolescent program is introduced, Quenva must create a separate age-assurance, parental or minor consent, privacy, clinical, and prescribing workflow for each supported state before offering it.

09

Non-waivable rights and questions

Applicable state law supplements Quenva’s public policies. If a state-specific term conflicts with a nationwide term, the mandatory state protection controls and the conflicting term is limited only as necessary. Send questions, privacy requests, appeals, accessibility requests, and policy concerns to support@quenva.co. Clinical-record or treatment questions should use the secure portal.
