Your consumer health data choices

This notice supplements Quenva’s general Privacy Policy for consumer health data protected by applicable state laws, including data that may fall outside HIPAA.

Policy versionSeptember 3, 2026
01

Scope

Consumer health data may include personal information linked or reasonably linkable to a person that identifies or reveals past, present, or future physical or mental health status. Depending on law, it may include symptoms, diagnoses, treatments, medications, reproductive or sexual health, hormone information, mental health, sleep, bodily measurements, precise location related to seeking care, and inferences drawn from other information.

02

Categories collected

Quenva may collect identity and contact information; requested care category; symptoms, history, medicines, allergies, goals, and treatment responses; measurements and laboratory information; reproductive, sexual-health, hormone, sleep, and mental-health information; provider, pharmacy, order, and fulfillment records; telehealth communications; and technical data that identifies a consumer seeking health-related services.

Optional public-site campaign measurement and advertising-identifier retention are currently disabled. Previously consented attribution records, if any, remain separated from clinical fields and are not delivered to advertising platforms.

The public support-chat provider may process technical data and the message, contact information, mobile number, or SMS choice a visitor voluntarily submits through the widget. Quenva instructs visitors not to send consumer health data through the chat and directs treatment communications to the secure patient portal.

03

Sources

Sources may include you, your authorized representative, your device or browser, independent licensed providers and their licensed provider organization, pharmacies, laboratories, payment and shipping providers, identity-verification vendors, contracted care-platform and support providers, and information you direct another service to provide.

04

Purposes

Consumer health data may be used to provide a requested service, verify identity and location, evaluate program availability, support independent clinical review, coordinate testing, route a valid prescription, fulfill and ship treatment, provide support, process payment, maintain safety and security, prevent fraud, meet recordkeeping obligations, and comply with law. Quenva will not materially expand disclosed categories or purposes without notice and consent where required.

Any previously consented campaign data and generic milestones may remain in internal aggregate reports. The owner report groups records by campaign and does not provide patient-level timelines, identities, treatment categories, or raw click identifiers. The current public site does not create new optional attribution records.

05

Sharing

Categories may be shared as necessary with independent licensed providers and their licensed provider organization, licensed pharmacies, laboratories, contracted technology and operational processors, identity-verification services, payment and shipping providers, the public support-chat provider, professional advisers, regulators, and authorities. Sharing is limited to the requested service or another purpose permitted by law and contract. The support chat is not a clinical-record channel and should not receive treatment information.

06

Sale, advertising, and geofencing

Quenva does not sell consumer health data for monetary consideration. Quenva does not use health-intake, diagnosis, prescription, portal-message, appointment, consultation-completion, or payment-completion data for cross-context behavioral advertising. These healthcare milestones are not sent to Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, Search Atlas, or another advertising platform. If a practice legally treated as a sale or regulated sharing is introduced, Quenva must provide any notice, separate signed authorization, consent, and opt-out right required before it begins.

Quenva does not use geofences around healthcare facilities to identify, track, collect from, or send health-related messages to people entering or leaving those locations where prohibited by law.

07

Your rights

Where applicable, you may request confirmation of collection or sharing, access, correction, deletion, or a copy of consumer health data, and may withdraw consent for future collection or sharing. You may also appeal a refusal. Rights and exceptions vary by state and by whether another entity controls the record.

08

How to submit or appeal a request

Email support@quenva.co with the subject ‘Consumer Health Data Request’ and describe the right you wish to exercise. Quenva may ask for information reasonably necessary to authenticate your request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted after providing proof of authority.

If a request is denied, reply with the subject ‘Consumer Health Data Appeal.’ Quenva will respond within the period required by applicable law, explain the decision, and identify any state attorney general or other complaint mechanism when required.

09

Deletion and processors

When a verified deletion request is granted, Quenva will delete covered consumer health data from active systems and notify processors, affiliates, or other recipients as required. Data may remain temporarily in secure backup or archive systems until ordinary deletion cycles complete, and may be retained where permitted for legal, fraud-prevention, security, clinical-record, pharmacy, or transaction obligations.

10

Security, retention, and changes

Quenva uses and requires safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of consumer health data and retains it only as reasonably necessary for disclosed purposes, legal obligations, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or clinical-record requirements. Material changes will be posted and additional consent obtained when required.

11

State-specific protections

This notice is intended to provide a consistent baseline for residents of every U.S. state. Washington, Nevada, Connecticut, and other states may define consumer health data, sale, sharing, consent, authorization, and response duties differently. The applicable state definition and protection control. Quenva will present additional state-specific notices or consent during intake when required.
