Important safety information

Know the risks before treatment.

Safety differs by condition, medicine, formulation, route, dose, health history, and other medicines. This overview does not replace the complete label, pharmacy instructions, or your treating licensed provider’s advice.

Urgent and crisis care

Quenva is not an emergency service.

For chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reaction, trouble breathing, an erection lasting more than four hours, or another medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

If you may act on thoughts of harming yourself or someone else, call 911. In the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Metabolic & Weight Care

GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP risks are product-specific.

Share any personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, prior pancreatitis, gallbladder or kidney problems, severe stomach symptoms, diabetes medicines, eye complications, pregnancy or pregnancy plans, and all current medicines. Common effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal symptoms, fatigue, and injection-site reactions.

Thyroid C-cell tumor warning for applicable products

Pancreatitis and gallbladder problems

Dehydration-related kidney injury

Low blood sugar with certain diabetes medicines

Serious allergic reactions

Severe gastrointestinal problems

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide products are not FDA-approved and are not generic versions of approved drugs. FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. Current legal availability depends on patient-specific need, pharmacy practice, federal law, and state law.

Women’s Health

Hormone, vaginal, hair, and skin care require individualized review.

Share age, menstrual and pregnancy history, pregnancy potential or plans, anatomy, unexplained bleeding, cancer history, clotting or cardiovascular history, migraine, liver disease, current screening, and all medicines. Hormone risks differ by product, route, dose, anatomy, timing, and indication. Some vaginal symptoms require examination or testing rather than online treatment.

Unexplained vaginal bleeding

Cancer, clotting, stroke, and cardiovascular history

Pregnancy potential and reproductive goals

Need for progesterone with some systemic estrogen use

Product-specific blood-pressure, liver, and interaction risks

Hair and skin medicines with pregnancy precautions

Men’s sexual & hair health

Cardiovascular interactions and product status matter.

Sildenafil, tadalafil, and related erectile-dysfunction medicines must not be combined with nitrates and may be unsafe with riociguat or in some cardiovascular conditions. Seek emergency care for chest pain, sudden vision or hearing change, or an erection lasting more than four hours. Finasteride has pregnancy-exposure precautions and potential sexual or mood-related adverse effects. Oral minoxidil use for hair loss is off-label and can affect blood pressure and heart rate.

Testosterone replacement therapy

TRT requires diagnosis, laboratory confirmation, and monitoring.

Testosterone may suppress sperm production, increase blood pressure or hematocrit, worsen some sleep-apnea symptoms, and transfer from topical products to others. Review fertility plans, cardiovascular history, prostate and breast health, blood pressure, blood count, sleep apnea, and all current medicines. Testosterone products are Schedule III controlled substances and require product-specific prescribing and monitoring.

Blood pressure and hematocrit monitoring

Prostate, breast, and cardiovascular review

Topical transfer precautions

Sleep-apnea and in-person evaluation needs

Sleep care

Sedation, breathing symptoms, and next-day function matter.

Sleep medicines may cause sedation, next-day impairment, interactions, or complex behaviors. Possible sleep apnea, severe daytime impairment, unusual nighttime behaviors, pregnancy, substance withdrawal, or symptoms of another medical or psychiatric condition may require local testing, in-person evaluation, or specialist care.

Quenva’s planned online sleep pathway does not advertise benzodiazepines or controlled Z-drugs.

Mental Health

Outpatient telehealth is not crisis or emergency care.

Antidepressants carry warnings about increased suicidal thoughts and behaviors in children, adolescents, and young adults, especially early in treatment or after dose changes. Possible bipolar disorder, psychosis, eating disorder, substance withdrawal, immediate safety risk, or need for a higher level of support may require a different care setting.

Quenva does not advertise benzodiazepines, stimulants, or other controlled psychiatric medicines. Call or text 988 in the U.S. for crisis support and call 911 for immediate danger.

FDA-approved peptide medicines

Approval belongs to the product and indication.

“Peptide” is not a wellness indication. Tesamorelin is FDA-approved for reducing excess abdominal fat in adults with HIV-associated lipodystrophy and is not indicated for general weight-loss management. Setmelanotide is approved only for qualifying rare genetic obesity disorders. Quenva does not present research-only peptides as approved human therapies.

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not generic versions of approved drugs. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing.
